Professor and Ciels Campus director Simone Borile was a guest on Tv7 Triveneta’s programme “Con voi” hosted by Elena Cogito to talk about the dynamics of youth violence. 

In the transition from being children to becoming adults, therefore in the process of adultization of the person, young people tend to form groups with their peers to support each other and feel recognized while their personality is formed and their being an entity other than the parents from whom they are detaching themselves. 

But in some cases, this leads to the creation of groups that feed off violence and aggressive attitudes. 

Analyzing the dynamics of youth violence is essential to recognize the phenomenon and to be able to interact with people who are inside these groups and perpetrate cruel actions at the expense of victims.
