Internship
CIELS Campus believes in the opportunity of the internship as a liaison between study and the world of work.
It is one of the simplest and most immediate ways to get in touch with companies and institutions, allowing you to make yourself known and learn “on the job” through practical experience.
We made more than 300 agreements with various organizations, helping them look for new professionals to join their staff, and we are always looking for new partners so as to offer new opportunities to our students.
The training internship is mandatory in the Language Mediation bachelor’s degree course of study (L-12), allowing students to deal with the working experience while implementing their studies.
An internship requires a relationship between:
- Intern;
- Host entity – agency, cooperative, public body etc.;
- Promoter
The Internship activity is usually carried out during the third year, and requires a total of 150 hours. By finishing the internship you’ll gain a total of 6 ECTs as written in the study plan.
The traineeship is activated on the basis of an agreement concluded between the promoter and the host entity, accompanied by a training project drawn up by the employer, which contains indications about the duration, working hours as well as goals, methods, facilities, obligations and commitments.
Both the promoter and the host entity must provide a tutor/referent who will follow the trainee throughout the experience.
At the end of the experience, the internship will be registered on the student’s record book and its promoter, upon request, issues a certificate of the activity carried out and the skills acquired.
Ciels Campus believes that the internship is a liaison between the study and the working world. We made more than 300 agreements with various organizations, helping them look for new professionals to join their staff. Become our partner to activate curricular or extracurricular traineeships in your company or institution.
It is also possible for students to carry out an internship abroad, not covered by the Erasmus+ Placement Programme.
The student, in fact, can choose an institution that can host them for an internship experience abroad.
With a special agreement between Ciels and the host institution, the internship is recognised anyway in the student’s career as a professional training experience.
