Alumni Ciels – Eleonora, social media and content management

Eleonora: thanks to the different workshops I did, I easily started my role as a social media specialist dealing with content management
In the social world, communication is not all the same.
Each media has its own rules and characteristics that must be correctly understood in order to create performative content.
Eleonora is a former Ciels student of ours who told us how the practical approach of the workshops, which she took during her Bachelor’s degree and deepened in her Master’s degree, has helped her to work today in a digital communication agency.

What is your name and what is your profession now?

Hi everyone, I am Eleonora and I am a social media content specialist at a digital marketing agency. I design, develop and deliver ad hoc content for digital channels, such as social media, blogs, DEM, newsletters, websites, etc.

What did you study to get to your profession?

In 2020, I got my Bachelor degree in Language Mediation for Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations at the Ciels Campus. I then continued in this same direction with the Master’s Degree Programme in Strategic Communication for Web Marketing and Digital Commerce for Business Internationalisation.

Why did you choose Ciels Campus?

As a great fan of foreign languages, I chose Ciels Campus because it gave me the opportunity to study them through a concrete approach, enriched by exercises, simulations and practical tests. This allowed me to experiment with languages, putting myself at stake and acquiring skills that I would not have been able to acquire in books.

What did you find unexpected that impressed you?

A familiar environment, where I felt comfortable and at ease. All the people I met, from the professors to the people in the administration office, turned out to be caring, helpful and supportive throughout my journey, both professionally and morally.

How has Ciels helped you in your current profession?

Having attended the course of study with a specialization in Digital Marketing, I had no problem fitting into the working environment.
The lectures and, above all, the hands-on workshops enabled me to acquire all the knowledge I needed to approach the world of marketing, which I then deepened in my profession.
In this context, languages proved to be a bonus, since we have international clients, whose communication is therefore not limited to Italian.

Choose 3 adjectives to describe your experience at Ciels and explain them:

Tangible = from day one, I had the opportunity to put into practice the notions acquired during the theoretical lessons, testing myself.
Growth = it is a journey of growth, to all intents and purposes. Day after day, you mature, you grow both professionally and humanly. After five years, I can say for sure that I am not the same person I was at the beginning.
Human = in Ciels, I found very human, empathetic and special people. I never felt alone or left behind, despite a thousand difficulties and uncertainties. Their support was fundamental.  

Why did you choose to continue with the Master’s degree? The Bachelor’s programme had been so positive that I couldn’t do any less. I knew I was on the safe side with Ciels, so I didn’t hesitate to re-enrol once the Bachelor’s programme was over.

 How has the Master’s programme helped you on your journey? The Master ‘s programme allowed me to deepen my knowledge in the field of digital marketing, in addition to the languages of study, giving me new skills, abilities and knowledge, which proved to be and still prove to be fundamental in my work.
