This course is designed for those who want to work not only in the Hospitality field, but also in the events organization field and in those organizations and companies which aims to enhance artistic, gastronomic and cultural heritage of their territory.

Students will have a solid knowledge in economy, law and politics so as to be able to define artistic, cultural, and wine promotion strategies by fixing clear and measurable business goals, as well as being able to improve reception services.

Workshops within this course allows the students to put their theoretical knowledge into practice by defining promotional strategies on real cases, analyzing resources and assets of a territory.

The main idea this course is designed on is the conception of Tourism as a complex economic, social – communication and interlinguistic dialogue – phenomenon, a tool for developing a stronger European identity as well as concrete international cooperation for development.

It provides tools and highly professionalizing teachings to prepare a language mediator able to work in tourism businesses with a solid knowledge in the commercial field.

The study of foreign languages is combined with the study of planning, organization and promotion of local and foreign tourism, so as to give students solid skills in the economic, legal and managerial fields integrated with language mediation techniques.
