The curriculum in Applied Intercultural Linguistic Mediation is aimed at those interested in the field of sociolinguistic mediation between different cultures, applied in different market sectors.

It combines knowledge in international law, economics for business developement, political geography, up to in-depth techniques of negotiation and intercultural communication, providing the student with a cross-cultural preparation enriched by numerous laboratory activities aimed at achieving practical skills.

 

The strong multidisciplinary nature of this pathway and the solid language skills it provides enable training as a language mediator experienced in managing relationships in the most diverse professional and competitive scenarios, facilitating exchanges between diplomatic institutions, international bodies and companies.

The curricula, including laboratory activities, may be subject to updates, from year to year, in relation to the teaching autonomy established according to DM 270/2004 and subsequent decrees.

For the three-year course of study in Applied Intercultural Language Mediation, only the language programme in Language, Translation and Interpreting (LTI) – B is provided.
